Multiple IDNs Select Tissue TrackCore as Product of Choice for Tissue Tracking Compliance Software

The Tissue TrackCore platform is experiencing explosive growth in its user base as it is selected by multiple Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs). Recent agreements with IDNs including Catholic Healthcare West, Christus Health, Memorial Hermann and the Sisters of Charity Leavenworth have lead to immediate double digit growth in customer base including 18 facilities in the Christus Health System alone.

The number of hospitals joining IDNs and GPOs continues to grow as they seek to find more ways to cut costs and deliver affordable healthcare. As part of a larger group hospitals are able to negotiate better deals and standardized practices and technology across partner facilities. Tissue TrackCore’s affordable pricing, state of the art technology, singular product focus and thorough understanding of tissue and implant tracking compliance issues, makes it an attractive solution for IDNs, and their member facilities, looking for the lowest total cost of ownership.

“Tissue TrackCore continues to be evaluated side by side with competing products at the IDN level and has been selected in all of these competitive situations to date.” says John Post, President LPiT Solutions, Inc., the technology company behind Tissue TrackCore.

Tissue TrackCore is a web-based software product that provides surgical facilities a cost-effective way to easily track tissues in compliance with FDA and Joint Commission standards. Written specifically to address the Joint Commission’s tissue tracking standards that are applicable to hospitals and surgical centers (PC.17.10, PC.17.20, PC.17.30), and the standards that are applicable to labs (QC.5.300, QC.5.310, QC.5.320), Tissue TrackCore is very easy to use and ensures a high-rate of accuracy in tracking tissues and implants.

Tissue TrackCore Successfully Integrates With ORIS Operating Room Information System

4/25/2008 – Through the use of secured web services, LPiTSolutions, Inc is successfully interfacing with ORIS (Operating Room Information System) to ease data entry and improve accuracy in its tissue tracking software aimed at assisting medical facilities in meeting Joint Commission standards for tracking allograft and autograft tissue.

In November 2007, LPiTSolutions introduced its Web Services Integration Platform (WSIP) into Tissue TrackCore, in order to provide medical facilities the ability to integrate their other information systems with TrackCore and to realize efficiencies in data entry. WSIP enables medical facilities to integrate a variety of systems that may or may not use HL7 as the standard format for transmitting data.

In February 2008, integration with ORIS was established and since then WSIP has processed over 200 transactions per day for each facility that is utilizing this integration capability. Integrations, like the one with ORIS, are resulting in the increased operational efficiencies through reduced keystrokes and the elimination of redundantly entered data.

If you are a medical facility investigating tissue tracking compliance software and are interested in operational efficiencies and data integration be sure to talk to a Tissue TrackCore sales representative about utilizing Tissue TrackCore and WSIP. If you are an existing Tissue TrackCore user and want to further improve your operational efficiencies even more call your account representative or our technical support line and ask about our web services integration.

TrackCore a 'Rewarding Experience' - HCA Parham Doctors' Hospital

“We, Parham Doctors’ Hospital, a campus of Henrico Doctors’ Hospital, went on line with TTC in September of 2008. The transition to the use of TTC has been a very rewarding experience. TTC has been there all the way in helping us ‘go live’. They have continued to help and are always available when questions come up. During the last three reviews that we have had with TJC or PPR surveyors, we always had an issue that was not up to standards. Because of TTC’s expertise and assistance, we had an outstanding review. The surveyor was very impressed that we had been ‘on line’ since September. She had suggestions that we might consider, such as sending physicians follow-up letters. She was very pleased to see that we were already doing this. Having this template in the TTC database makes this so much easier.

The staff have also adjusted to the documentation so much easier than they thought they would. Alan came down one day to help orient the staff and they said that his explanation of the system helped them so much. As a result, the tracking of tissue has become so much easier and, I feel, more complete.

I now feel that the safety of the patient receiving tissue has been upgraded to another level.”
