St Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center Recommends TUG

“The biggest thing I took from TUG10 was learning ways to streamline our process. We had not started the pre-receiving process before TUG10, and I was very apprehensive about the potential for issues we could encounter. We implemented a couple of weeks after returning and have not had any issues. We pre-receive all tissue through our loading dock now and it has been a smooth transition/addition to our chain of custody.”

General Surgery Materials Coordinator

Congratulations to TrackCore’s “Most Wired” customers

LPIT Solutions wishes to congratulate several of its TrackCore customers who were named to the 2011 “Most Wired” listing by Hospitals and Health Networks. The survey conducted in early 2011 asked hospitals and health systems to respond on their IT department’s initiatives.

The list of nationally recognized hospitals and health systems include Baystate Health, Hunterdon Healthcare, Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, MultiCare Health System, Rush University Medical Center, Stanford Hospital & Clinics, University of California San Diego Health System, and University of Missouri Health Care.

The survey for the 2011 Most Wired revealed that the majority of “Most Wired” electronically order medications, utilize digital records for clinical data and are leaders in safeguarding information via encryption on laptops and smartphones.

As a partner and vendor with these hospitals, LPIT Solutions helps ensure their technological advancement through the utilization of TrackCore for managing the chain of custody and tracking their usage of tissues and surgical implants. TrackCore provides full compliance with the standards of The Joint Commission and the FDA.
