The Joint Commission Announces Top Performer Hospitals
The Joint Commission has announced the hospitals who are "Top Performer on Key Quality Measures." This annual report provides a performance summary for over 3000 Joint Commission accredited hospitals, based on the 47 accountability measures determined by The Joint Commission. In addition, the 2013 data shows over half of the hospitals accredited by the Joint Commission have achieved the honor of being a Top Performer. The 1,099 hospitals who received this distinction obtained a score of 95 percent or greater on all the accountability measures reported and must gain an overall score of 95 percent during the calendar year for 2012.

LPIT Solutions, Inc., congratulates our TrackCore customers who have been honored for their achievement in the Top Performers on Key Quality Measures program by The Joint Commission. Hospitals are recognized as Top Performers based on the accountability measure data that is reported to The Joint Commission during the previous year.
The results found that 620 hospitals were Top Performers during the 2011 caledar year. To qualify, hospitals must meet the following criteria: the Top Performer must achieve a performance score of 95 percent or higher for their final composite score of all reported accountability measure data; the hospital must meet a 95 percent performance threshold for each accountability measure that it reports data on.
